Privacy Policy

Freelanza is designed to help you manage your freelance finances while keeping your personal and financial information under your control.

Privacy-first by design No account is required, financial records stay on your device, and the app does not currently use advertising or analytics trackers.

Introduction

Thank you for using Freelanza ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.

By using Freelanza, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information handled by the App

Freelanza does not require an online account. Information you choose to enter may include:

  • Your name
  • Your email address, when provided
  • Your profile picture, when selected
  • Your country and preferred local currency
  • Income and expense records
  • Transaction notes, categories, clients, platforms and related details
  • App preferences such as theme and profile settings

How your data is stored

Your financial records, profile information and app settings are stored locally on your device.

Freelanza does not currently upload or synchronize your financial records to a server operated by us.

Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage may remove locally stored data. Create a backup before changing devices, uninstalling the App, or clearing application data.

Backup and export

The App allows you to:

  • Create a local database backup
  • Restore a previously created backup
  • Export transaction records as CSV files

Backup and export files are created only when you request them. After a file is saved, copied or shared outside the App, you are responsible for keeping it secure.

Device permissions

Depending on your device and Android version, Freelanza may request access needed to:

  • Select and store a profile picture
  • Create, save, select or restore backup and export files

Permissions are used only to support features you choose to use. The App does not access or track your GPS location.

Data sharing and sale

Freelanza does not sell or rent your personal or financial information.

Because your core app data is stored locally, we do not receive your financial records unless you independently choose to send them to us, for example when requesting support.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

Freelanza does not currently use advertising SDKs, behavioral tracking technologies, or third-party analytics services.

If analytics, advertising or cloud services are introduced in a future release, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when those features are made available.

Data security

We design the App to minimize unnecessary data collection. However, no device or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for protecting your device and exported files using appropriate safeguards such as a secure screen lock, updated software and trusted storage locations.

Children's privacy

Freelanza is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as the App changes. Updates will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
